Overview:

WiredPeople is seeking a highly skilled Decision Support Specialist to join our team! In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining centralized data reporting infrastructure, designing data management routines, and developing reporting tools that drive enterprise-wide decision support. You will collaborate closely with business analysts and team managers to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications and high-impact reports. This role will be located onsite in Tallahassee, FL (remote not allowed). 

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting & Data Management: Design, develop, and submit reporting tools and data management routines to populate centralized datasets based on functional specifications.

  • KPI & Quality Tracking: Provide reporting access to key performance indicators (KPIs), Clinical Quality Measures (established by the National Quality Forum), and Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) Meaningful Use Objectives.

  • Business Requirements Analysis: Evaluate, analyze, and submit business requirements. Develop detailed report specifications using Microsoft Office tools to capture the goals of the defined requirements.

  • Facilitation & Collaboration: Facilitate technical specification reviews with business analysts and team managers. Organize defined agendas, ensure a common understanding of terms, synthesize ideas, track discussions, and provide clear written and oral summaries of decisions.

  • Compliance & Training: Complete all job-required training as assigned by the Department (verified via certificates, sign-in sheets, or the Learning Management System).

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) years of documented experience in each of the following areas:

  • Managing database structures and design.

  • Maintaining centralized data reporting infrastructure for the purposes of enterprise-wide decision support.

  • Writing relational and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) database queries using SQL.

  • Working with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), or similar enterprise tools.

  • Performing requirements analysis and generating ad-hoc reports.

  • Conducting technical specifications reviews, providing guidance, and offering actionable feedback.
