 Overview:

The Junior Public Health PM Analyst is a member of an interdisciplinary public health team assisting Florida in reaching its strategic public health goals. This position requires a considerable exercise of independent judgment, excellent interpersonal skills, good computer skills, and the ability to perform against high standards of excellence. This position will be onsite in Tallahassee, FL. 

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and facilitate meetings; including agenda and minutes (i.e. schedule meetings, document decisions, identify issues and action items).
  • Draft use cases, process maps, and standard operating procedures
  • Draft design documentation
  • Draft training documentation such as user manuals and deliver training to users.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering and prioritization.
  • Perform needs analysis, analyze business processes, develop process maps, and assist team members.
  • Draft functional and technical specifications.
  • Develop test cases, test plans, and conduct UAT.
  • Facilitate UAT with the team members.
  • Write specific, measurable, attainable, reasonable, and traceable (SMART) business requirements in a format which includes role or persona, the need and outcome.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering with team members.
  • Draft and maintain project documents (project charters, project plans, status reports, schedules, and others) related to projects being managed.
  • Gather data, conduct data analysis, and create dashboards and reports.
  • Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams and other stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status.

Qualifications:

  • This person MUST be located in Tallahassee, FL as this position is onsite. 
  • Two years of experience working with projects as a Business Analyst or Project Manager.
  • Two years of experience with operational teams.
  • Two years of experience identifying, analyzing, and documenting policies, processes, and procedures using use case process documents, workflow diagrams, and drafting of standard operating procedures.
  • Two years of experience gathering, drafting, and prioritizing requirements.
  • Two years of experience with meeting facilitation, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Two years of experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT), writing test scripts, testing methodologies and documentation.
  • Two years of experience drafting functional and technical specifications.
  • Two years of experience with the use of Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel.
  • Two years of technical writing experience including drafting of project documents, reports, and user guides for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Two years of tracking work tasks and project schedules.
  • Two years of experience gathering and analyzing data to develop reports.
