Facilities Service Technician
Overview:
WiredPeople is seeking a dedicated and reliable Facilities Service Technician to support environmental services at the Georgia Regional Hospital in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment by performing routine housekeeping tasks in patient areas, public spaces, offices, and other designated locations throughout the facility. Preferred candidates would be located in or around Atlanta, Georgia.
Essential Functions:
Clean and maintain room and building surfaces, including floors, walls, windows, and fixtures
Sanitize appliances, furniture, and equipment as required
Perform routine and deep-cleaning tasks in patient rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and public/common areas
Restock supplies, including soap, paper products, and other consumables
Follow safety and infection-control protocols at all times
Report maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly
Work collaboratively with facility staff to ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience in a healthcare or institutional setting preferred
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25–50 lbs as needed
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
