The Opportunity
Are you a problem solver with a strong academic record and a drive to learn? We are seeking a Management Consulting Analyst to join our growing practice.
This is more than just a job; it’s a career accelerator. You will work alongside experienced consultants to deliver strategic, unbiased advisory services to organizations nationwide, with a focus on the public sector. As an Analyst, you will be the "intellectual engine" of the team—gathering data, synthesizing complex information, and helping us solve critical business problems in areas ranging from strategic planning to organizational restructuring.
What You Will Do
You will build a foundation in business consulting by supporting project teams across the entire delivery lifecycle:
1. Research & Analysis
- Dig Deeper: Perform rigorous data gathering and analysis. You will synthesize quantitative and qualitative information to help the team understand the root causes of client challenges.
- Identify Solutions: Assist in conceptualizing business problems and assessing possible solutions, processes, and methodologies.
- Tell the Story: Assist in the writing and production of high-quality business reports, white papers, and presentations. You will create organized, detailed documentation that translates data into insight.
- Quality Control: Review work products for accuracy, quality, and completeness before they ever reach the client.
- Client Interaction: Participate in client interviews and meetings to understand their needs. You won't just be in the back room; you will gain exposure to real client environments.
- Keep Us on Track: Assist project management with task tracking, administrative activities, and risk communication to ensure our engagements stay on schedule.
- An Academic Achiever: You have a strong academic record (GPA of 3.4 or higher) that proves your dedication and ability to learn quickly.
- A Writer: You possess advanced professional writing skills. You can structure a logical argument and pay obsessive attention to detail.
- A Resourceful Thinker: You are a self-starter who can take a task from initiation to completion with minimal supervision. When you don't know the answer, you find it.
- A Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment but are comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
- Experience: 0 to 3 years of experience in management consulting or professional services.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Microsoft Office is non-negotiable, with a strong preference for Excel and Visio skills.
- Availability: Must be comfortable working in the Eastern Time Zone and willing to travel occasionally.
- Foundational knowledge of business and professional services.
- Previous experience or familiarity with the public sector/government clients.
- Exemplary oral communication skills and the confidence to present your work.
