ServiceNow Programmer/Developer Analyst

Overview and Essential Functions:

The ServiceNow (SN) Programmer/Developer Analyst will require extensive experience with ServiceNow implementations, workflow engines, and have familiarity with ITIL processes, with particular emphasis on the Change Management implementation while ensuring successful integration with other SN modules (e.g. Incident, Request Fulfillment, Asset, Configuration, and Problem).  Successful candidates must have strong development skills and will be responsible for coding and testing technical solutions.  The SN Programmer/Developer Analyst must be able to bridge the gap between the defined business processes and technical requirements, follow software development processes, and follow detailed project plans and generate work estimates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Eight (8) years' experience gathering and documenting functional and technical requirements
  • Three (3) years' experience in the following areas:
    • Experience with ServiceNow development, scripting and configuration (specifically client scripting, business rules, UI policies, and workflows)
    • Experience implementing ITIL Methodologies in a ServiceNow environment
    • Extensive experience with highly complex security application requirements
  • Two (2) years' experience in the following areas:
    • Experience in integrating ServiceNow with external applications
    • Extensive experience in implementing domain separation in ServiceNow environment

Preferred Qualifications:

In addition to the minimum requirements above, candidates who possess the following experience are preferred:

  • Five (5) years' experience with web technologies (JAVA Script, XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP)
  • Three (3) years' experience with the Microsoft Windows and Office products
  • Three (3) years of public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government)
  • Two (2) years' experience with CPA ServiceNow application
