Senior Sales Manager
The Senior Sales Manager will develop business through existing and new clients.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
Maintain and develop the existing client base through regional marketing and direct sales activities
Identify, qualify and develop new opportunities through prospecting and networking
Manage and maintain your sales pipeline and target key accounts and vertical markets for development
Quarterback deal process and support non-standard deal structures
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets and other regional objectives
Provide monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
Manage the day to day activities of sales personnel. This includes inside sales representatives and sales engineers.
Consistently achieve and/or exceed your assigned quotas and revenue objectives
Utilize channel sales resources as necessary
Manage territory planning and sales resources optimization. Provide comprehensive analysis of territory alignment decisions; advise and drive sales quota setting process.
Provide guidance, insight, and recommendations to leadership team focused on increased revenue growth while improving overall sales team performance and effectiveness.
Lead and counsel sales team in implementing objectives and define success metrics that align with go-to-market business goals. Responsible for leading short-term and long-term planning operating mechanisms that drive continuous improvement and growth strategies.
Work cross functionally with marketing, finance, product, and executive teams to solve complex business problems and drive strategic planning.
Support sales strategy and enablement initiatives around sales process and methodology focused on improving productivity, win rates, and visibility, and track performance against goals.
Must have ability to travel 20% of time.
Bachelor's Degree and 5-7 years of experience directly relating to this job
Ability to take on a consultative style when presenting ideas and products
C-Level sales experience
Competency with sales tracking tools, i.e., Salesforce
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision
